There’s a hidden easter egg on the Red Dwarf Season 2 DVD on Disc One.
Here’s how to find it.
How to unlock the Easter Egg
Insert Disc One and go to the main menu.
Highlight “Subtitles”, but don’t press enter.
Instead, press down on your remote or controller.
This moves the selection onto Holly’s watch on the console.
Press enter.
The menu will switch to the Holly Hop Drive screen.
Press enter again.
What the hidden clip shows
This unlocks an animated interview with members of the production team discussing Queeg and the actor who played him.
It’s a short behind-the-scenes feature focused on the character and how it was developed for the series.
Charles Augins and sci-fi roles
The segment includes discussion of Charles Augins, an Olivier Award-winning choreographer and singer.
He also appeared in earlier science fiction television, including a role in Blake’s 7 as the warlord Lod in 1981.
