How To Access the Easter Eggs on Garth Marenghi’s Darkplace
Hidden Videos
- From the main menu, select Set-Up.
- Highlight Colour Bars.
- Press Play.
- Fast-forward to the end of the clip (around 1 minute).
- Once the clip finishes, the DVD will automatically jump to a sequence of hidden videos.
Hidden Audio Track
- Insert the DVD into your player.
- Go directly to Title 19.
- You will see a still frame from the title sequence.
- The hidden audio will then begin to play.

Thornton Reed introducing Channel Ladykiss.
A Darkplace patient reading Garth’s novels.
An interview with Todd Rivers discussing method acting. This for me is the best one.
The hidden audio track contains all of the songs and incidental music from the series, running for approximately 39 minutes.
Why These Easter Eggs Stand Out
This DVD is already packed with incredible extra features. I owned this DVD for years before I found these extra bits. Also to find basically a full lengh album hidden on the disc was an incredible bonus. TV and Film soundtracks used to be a big moneyspinner so to have it for free is incredible.
