The Easter egg is a short featurette about one of the film’s strangest and most memorable moments: the Fruity Oaty Bar adverts.
How to Find the Hidden Featurette
- Insert the Serenity DVD and go to the Main Menu.
- Highlight Play.
- Press Left on your DVD remote.
- A red symbol will appear on the right-hand side of the screen.
- Highlight the symbol and press Enter.
That’s it! The hidden video will begin playing.

The Easter egg contains a short making-of documentary about the Fruity Oaty Bar adverts that appear in the film. It also includes the complete version of the wonderfully bizarre commercial itself.
